A long time in the planning, I finally got around to painting our Family Tree.  Our family is spread far and wide.  We wanted to make sure our kids know who everyone is, past and present, even if they never meet some of them.

Northwoods Growth Chart

 I just finished painting this growthchart for my mom to give as a baby shower gift, to match this bedding set the couple has registered for . They haven't announced the baby's name yet, so I will hold off on personalizing it. Once the baby is born, I'll paint the name onto a wooden cut-out of the larger bear and mail it to them, and they can just glue it right over the silhouette.

Flying Pigs Growth Chart

Growth chart for my sister's best friend, who is expecting her first baby. She loves pigs, but is also into all things horror. The original version was just pigs with angel wings, but I felt it was too sweet and baby-pink & blue. Giving some of the pigs bat wings instead, adding grey clouds, and a somewhat Tim Burton-ish border gave it just the right horror edge, while still being appropriate for a newborn!
